Koldcraft Refrigeration Service LLC is a family-run heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) service company.  Owner Joe Marchese has been servicing and installing HVAC/R equipment systems for over thirty years, beginning at his family's HVAC contracting business in New York City. 

Throughout his career Joe has held many diverse positions within the industry such as National Service Manager for Coldelite Corp., Refrigeration Facilities Manager for Kmart Corporation, and Service Supervisor for Carrier Corporation.  He has also been a Trainer for the International Union of Operating Engineers, Training Manager for Stulz-Air Technology Systems and most recently Lead HVAC/R instructor at Rosedale Techncial College.

Joe is an avid supporter of education for the HVAC technician and has been an instructor for over twenty years.  He is an active member of Refrigeration Service Engineers Society (www.rses.org) and holds six Specialist Certifications with this organization.  He also holds seven Specialty Certifications with NATE (www.natex.org).  He regularly conducts educational seminars throughout the country as well as webinars for RSES.  Joe is actively involved in the RSES Greater Pittsburgh Chapter, and has been its Education Chairman and Newsletter Editor.  He most recently completed his tenure as the RSES 2013-2014 International President.

Joe is also contributing monthly columnist for THE NEWS and has published numerous articles in the RSES Journal, Service Reporter and RSC Contracting magazines.  He was a contributing editor to Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration Institute’s (ARI) recent “Refrigeration and Air Conditioning” textbook.  Joe has also authored “Troubleshooting Tips for Servicing Refrigeration Systems,” published by LAMA Books.
